The primary responsibility of the Finance and Maintenance (F&M) Committee is managing the congregation’s assets—the church building itself, its grounds and gardens, the manse, the Church Hall (although most of the Hall management rests with the Vancouver Taiwanese Presbyterian Church), and the financial affairs of the congregation.

The F&M Committee, with the assistance of the treasurer and the envelope secretary, ensures that all financial reporting obligations are met in a timely manner and that the offerings are counted and deposited in the church’s bank account.

The F&M Committee keeps the congregation regularly informed about its financial position and any concerns that may arise with the condition of its real estate assets. It also ensures that suitable insurance coverage is maintained over these assets.

The F&M Committee generally meets once a month, or as needed, to perform these responsibilities.
