Please participate in our Congregational Survey!

As announced in early September we want to know how you feel about our worship practices. There are three ways to do this.

  1. For those who like to take online survey's and are familiar with Google forms please click the following link:
    https://forms.gle/p98CmvhmkYvFeqzg7
  2. A hard copy of the form can be obtained from our office secretary Droma Lui. Please call our office (604)-261-1434 to arrange a pick up or mail out.
  3. You can pick one up for yourself by attending our worship service this Sunday. Forms will be available along with worship bulletins.

All Survey responses will be accepted on or before Monday October 23rd. We hope to share a summary of the results in the coming month.

Thank you in advance for helping us out and participating in the survey.

God Bless, Richard

Workers for the Harvest

Most people will have seen the incredible apples on the tree across the fence from our parking lot. Well, the homeowner has given us permission to harvest them!!   ALL of them!!!
Please contact Helen Anderson to add your name to the work party list. (It will have to be done very soon)
Helen proposes to share the fruit with students at VST.

As we embark on the fall academic term, we recognize that some of our new international students need help to find affordable rental rooms. This concern has prompted us to reach out to our church partners with a special request. If you have property to rent, either a room ($500-$850 a month) or a house (2-3 bedrooms, $2-3k a month), we would love to hear from you. Your openness to offer a room in your home or to share this information within your congregation would be immensely appreciated.

If you have a room available or know someone who might, please contact Astrid Melatunan at +1 604-771-9207 or vststudentbuddy @vst.edu or Laura Chen at +1 604-822-0824 or lchen@vst.edu. Your generosity in opening up your homes can truly make a positive difference in the lives of these students and contribute to the vibrancy of our international community.
