2024 Saint Andrew's Hall Lenten Devotional

We are delighted to share the 2024 St. Andrew’s Hall Lenten Devotional Guide with individuals and congregations who are looking for a resource to help them mark the season of preparation before Easter. Inside this guide you will find a daily scripture reading, reflection and prayer from members of the St. Andrew’s Hall community. Join faculty, staff, students and residents, board members and alumni as we walk the road to the joy of Jesus’ resurrection. Download the Lenten guide for free and please share it with others.

 Janet Thomson Meeting

A very big THANK YOU to all the bakers and buyers for last Sunday's very successful bake sale. We raised $308.00 for the Refugee Sponsorship Fund. We will continue to have the Lenten Calendars available via this link, at the Church entrance on Sunday morning and in the Lounge after the service.  This will remind us of the forty days and nights that Christ spent in the desert fasting and fending off the devil’s temptations. This year Lent runs from 14 February, Ash Wednesday, to 31 March, Easter Sunday. The calendar also provides a way to thank God for our abundance. We ask you to make a donation based on the entry for each day. On Easter Sunday bring your donations to church in cash or by cheque payable to KPC, with Refugee Fund on the memo line. You can also donate from the Kerrisdale Church website by clicking THIS LINK which will take you to the church online donation page. Simply enter the amount of your donation, click CHANGE and select Refugee Sponsorship Fund. Continue down the page to enter your billing and credit card information.
The Refuge Committee is extremely grateful for your ongoing support.  After a lengthy pause, G-3 (Games, Giggles and Gab) is restarting at a new time and location. We will meet at Crofton Manor beginning on Thursday, March 7 from 2:00-3:30 p.m.This is a good way to introduce Crofton Manor residents to Kerrisdale Church members who they may have seen via the YouTube live-stream of our Sunday service.  Speak to Marg or Bill Buschman for more information.
