What a great week!  The joint KPC/VTPC Potluck was a resounding success!  Many thanks to those who brought food and the group of dedicated people who set up the tables and chairs and did the cleaning up afterward.  This great event could not have happened without everyone's efforts.  All this was accomplished within a very tight schedule, and military precision comes to mind, except that the military folks would be ordered to do these things whereas our group were very enthusiastic volunteers!!  Well Done Everyone.  Tamim and Elaha were particularly touched by the acknowledgment of their wedding anniversary.

Monthly Lunch meeting - Tuesday, May 14, noon

Join the fellowship at the Janet Thomson monthly group meeting. All are welcome. The special guest speaker is Margaret Walker.

Postponement of G3 (Games, Giggles & Gab Group)
Due to another event at Crofton, G3 will NOT meet on May 9, but on Thursday, May 23  at the usual time, 2 - 3:30 PMinstead. We have heard that the residents really enjoy the time we spend with them. They would be really disappointed if we were to postpone for a full month.
For more info contact Marg or Bill Buschman through the church office

Excitement is building for our Spring Fair on Saturday, May 18 from 11AM to 3:30PM.
Even at this late date our plans are being adjusted to best accommodate the changing situation.
A huge change – no sandwiches (BOO!!) BBQ'd BURGERS AND HOT DOGS will be sold for lunch instead (YAAAAY!!).
Donations for the Fair continue to arrive. Our event has been widely advertised and we’re hoping for a large attendance.  A wide range of items will be available so make sure you bring enough cash so you can take advantage of the bargains.  Our balloon artist will be performing on the front lawn from approximately 12:30 to 1:30 and then he will move to the hall area to continue his entertaining.

United Voices Choir is thrilled to present Bach’s magnificent masterpiece, the Mass in B Minor, with orchestra and soloists, and directed by Dr Greg Caisley.

The Mass in B Minor is regarded as one of the world’s greatest pieces of classical music and is a testament to Bach’s unparalleled talent. Weaving intricate polyphony and rich harmonic textures into a sublime tapestry, this remarkable work   demonstrates the composer’s extraordinary skill and invention. With powerful choruses, complex fugues, elegant solos and operatic duets, each movement shows his exceptional mastery of form and expression.

Crafted by Bach at the end of his life and at the peak of his genius, the Mass draws on music created during 25 years of Bach’s life. To perform such a monumental work is on the bucket list of almost every classical chorister and is a 'must hear' for all music lovers!

We invite you to come and immerse yourself in the timeless brilliance of Bach's musical legacy!

Tickets at $30 for adults and $15 for 18 years and younger can be purchased at or by clicking on the links below, or can be purchased at the door using cash or credit card.
